Formed by Kudaushe Matimba and Anna Mudeka, Tama combine rhythms from Zimbabwe, Malawi, Columbia/Cuba, Ghana, and Ivory Coast, as they bring a spectacular celebration of music and dance blending traditional and modern styles. Mudeka who has been causing a riot of colour and movement in the UK, Europe and
Asia last year. Having recently played at the queen Elizabeth Hall in London, Pestillozzi festival in Hastings, Zimbabwe festival in London and WOMAD Singapore 2005, this lineup has already had people talking about their sheer musicality and energy on stage.
