All the members of Adun Oyin are from the Western part of Nigeria and play styles of West African music ranging from Hi-Life , Gospel songs, Ju-Ju, Afro-beat and traditional Yoruba songsAdun Oyin have performed on many occasions across Ireland at weddings, churches, corporate events, college gigs and festivals including the Budweiser Global Beats festival in Limerick 2005. In 2003 the group merged with a production company called Calypso production to produce an award winning play titled “Mixing it on the mountain”. The band can be as small as 4 musicians or as big as 10 with all the backing vocals and dancers. |
